Punky Pinky, the first publication of STUDIO RUCKUS, is a one-shot full of action, revenge, and sorrow. Previously unreleased, Marcelino A. Balao's anime-esque artwork is clean and captivating. Caught between love and violence, Punky must join the call to arms against alien scum in a futuristic, war torn society. Action, crisp dialogue, and more sound effects then you can shake a stick at, it must be Punky. The Punky Pinky one-shot offers you a first glimpse into the studio that will revolutionize comic books, Studio Ruckus. Also included is a preview of our next book, RISEN. Enjoy!! 8 pages, color mini comic.

My personal feelings are that I liked the art but did not think the story was up to par. It was a story that in essence has been told too many times with just a few differences and seemed like a quick read for even a mini comic. Good quality for a first glimpse of works from Studio Ruckus however and I still urge folks to give this a shot.
